In the past 12 years, my attitude to health and fitness has improved and evolved into an integrated view of the body as a whole.

Taking care of your outer appearance is important but I want to be able to offer my clients more than just learning better movement. I also want to help you look after your body from the inside.

To achieve this, I completed a course in body alignment in 2018.
Body Alignment stimulates the muscles to relax, heal and unravel the tension stored deep in the muscle layers.

I continuously learn new methods and techniques to assist you and help you achieve a healthy body for life.

My ultimate goal is to help real people achieve their realistic goals. I love helping a client perfect their golf swing by strengthening their back in the gym; or doing a body alignment session to help alleviate back pain caused by sitting in front of a computer all day.

SATISFIED CLIENTS

Small group training is a lot of fun, and it also gets results. Research has shown that group training leads to faster and better results when compared to working out on your own. It is much easier to bail on yourself than in a group setting where you make friends, and they expect you to show up every session. Accountability to the group is one of the greatest things that makes group training better than training on your own.

Taking a haphazard approach to fitness will often yield poor or limited results. Unlike other basic day-to-day tasks, exercise requires a honed technique to achieve the desired results. We will develop a workout routine and overall strategy for reaching your goals. I will mix up workouts and bring new challenges to the table. We will start with small goals that will eventually lead to your final goal, and I will be there every step of the way. Includes a monthly assessment and body alignment session.

Not everyone has the time or energy to get to the gym, and not everyone is completely comfortable in a big public gym. With individual attention and customised training, this is a great option.

One of the most important things about body mechanics is alignment. Alignment refers to how the head, shoulders, spine, hips and feet line up, relate and communicate with each other, and thus enable the body to function to its maximum potential. Proper alignment puts less stress on supporting the body’s posture and the body’s mechanical movements. The accumulated build-up of stress results in the body feeling pain. Bad posture, the incorrect manner in which you exercise and physical trauma may cause the muscle to develop a sustained spasm that can’t be relieved by massage alone.

Left to their own devices, many individuals wind up on cardio machines at the gym or listlessly moving from one piece of exercise equipment to another. With my help you can be sure that your time at the gym will be spent performing the right exercises with the proper equipment. I will keep an eye on your posture and help you keep the correct form during a specific exercise.
